OK we are just over a week into the Kickstarter so thought we would do a quick roundup of events. First of all big thank you to everyone who shared the page but especially to Trevor Saunders, Chris Stewart, Scott Early, Simon Delf, Lawrence Geib, Susie Gander, Mark Weisner and Sergey Anikushin who have all generously backed us (if you want to join them the link is here)

I also want to thank Norwich Kitty for generously letting me guest host last Thursday (for those that missed it we launched the Kickstarter and had a fab cake!)

Special thanks to Lady Cybercat for the art and Linzers Bakery for the cake!

As a reminder we have 60 days to hit £6000, thus far we have £262. It’s a decent start but we need everyone to help us out as much as you can, both in terms of backing us and spreading the word. We are also going to be boosted by a brilliant new website update by Visualise coming very soon!

With that in mind I have been posting videos each day (including rewards, Norwich Castle and more!) and I am grateful to some fab guest stars who have helped along the way (with more to come)- Special thanks to Jack Allen and Heather Fullerton who both provided some great voice work! If you have any questions please let me know and will be happy to answer in a future video!

Day 1: A quick intro to the Kickstarter

Day 2:

Reynard City Relaunch- We need you!

Hope you all had a great Christmas, New Year etc!

New Year is traditionally a time people make their resolutions- lose weight, quit smoking etc. This year (I do need to lose weight but that’s another matter) we’re working on something big.

For those who have not read our previous blogs Reynard City Chronicles will be the title of our new, rebooted comic. While it will follow the story of the previous comics there will be changes, building on feedback we have received. In terms of art I am happy to say Nicholas Webb and Strider Syd are working hard on it and we are doing what we can to support them (also a big thank you to Jed Soriano for the logo.)

On 26th January I will be launching a Kickstarter- this will not only cover the comic but also the means with which to fund the project in the long term and to hopefully develop it so that we can maintain a high level of quality that our readers deserve (more details soon). It is also important to remember that any sales through the comic, merchandise, crowdfunding (including our Patreon) will be shared amongst the team who have worked on the comic. This is a promise and a serious commitment to the incredible talent that has worked hard and deserves better than I have given thus far.

Also happy to announce we will be getting a new website from Visualise as well, who alongside Norwich Kitty, HubFizz and Edward Couzens-Lake have been very supportive of Reynard City and have helped out a lot.

If you are interested in helping us and want to know more email me reynardcity@gmail.com. We are looking for people to help with promotion, fundraising etc. If you have a podcast or a show we would love to be featured on there! The more help we can get the better!

Last call for prints before Christmas!

UPDATE- We will be showing the first full colour picture from Chronicles soon. For a sneak preview of the pages we have so far please back our Patreon!

Also keep an eye out for a future blog as we discuss…the Reynard City Chronicles Relaunch Kickstarter (coming soon January 2017!)

As you may have seen we recently added a print shop to the page (click here for it as well as details on sizes and what’s available)

This Friday will be the last day we will post out items so if you would like a special Festive Fox Box (a print plus added goodies) or a print now is the time to order!

Below are some of the prints we can offer however if you have a specific fave cover, artwork or page from the comic let us know (reynardcity@gmail.com)- we will try and send out as soon as possible but please allow time for printing and postage!

Halloween Horror- Creepy moments from Reynard City

Special foxy thanks to our sponsors Visualise, HubFizz and Edward Couzens-Lake

Hi everyone and Happy Halloween! Just a quick reminder today is the DEADline for our Halloween costume party art contest (more info in The Den)

New art contest up now!

New art contest up now!

To celebrate this occasion I’ve picked out some of the darker, creepier and weirder moments from the comic. Do you agree/disagree? If not feel free to post yours below (or post them on Facebook, Twitter or Deviantart!)

Don’t know about you but Jack Allen’s Warp King in this video (combined with the visuals) freaks me out!

John Paul Guerra’s done some awesome videos for us but this one manages to capture the dark tone of the Subconscious story really well.
